About Accreditation

About Accreditation

What is Accreditation?

Accreditation involves the review and approval of material developed by training centres offering courses or programs in a number of disciplines. The courses are developed by the training facilities, NOT by CCPC Global. CCPC Global must address the standards of the discipline as established by leaders in the field. Accreditation addresses the issue of quality assurance in a given discipline.
Our service concerning accreditation of programs/courses is to assess all aspects of programming including the review of instructors. This is a due diligence measure in the case of a college/institution as they have their own internal set of criteria. The review is also important when we have organizations/groups putting on seminars or workshops that have no direct link to colleges/training facilities. The CV’s of the instructors are reviewed carefully before the seminar/workshop for accreditation is approved.

Providing Accreditation

CCPC Global provides certification to qualified applicants in approved disciplines. As a part of the certification process, the Council must ensure quality assurance with respect to the courses taken to set the standards for the discipline. This is always done in cooperation with the training facilities offering the courses. The process is established as Accreditation.

How are Programs/Courses Accredited?

Institue who is looking for AccreditationTraining facilities wanting their programs or courses accredited should provide to CCPC Global, documentation on course outlines and CV’s of instructors. Site visits will be required and will include at a minimum:

  • Curriculum and course structure review,
  • Testing procedures,
  • Classroom visits,
  • Instructor CV review, and
  • Complaint procedures.

Course material is reviewed by experts in the discipline and their recommendations are reviewed and approved by CCPC Global. If approved, arrangements are made with the training facility to do site visits as appropriate to determine that the training facility is doing what they say they are doing. When all is found to be in order, the accreditation is approved and the training facility is notified. An accreditation certificate of course/program approval will be issued at this time.
The approved training facility is provided with a Stamp of Approval and a logo they can use in their syllabus and advertising. The courses and training facility are included in the CCPC Global website as approved courses and links are made to the training facility’s website.
